Booking a Taxi From Ben Gurion Airport
Why should I book a taxi in advance?
Although taxis are available at Ben Gurion Airport 24/7, booking in advance can save you time and effort, as well as the hassle of fare negotiation. This is especially relevant during weekends, nights, and holidays when demand is higher. By booking in advance, you can avoid long queues and ensure a smooth and efficient start to your journey.
How long does it normally take to clear customs at Ben Gurion Airport?
From the moment of landing, getting through passport control and clearing customs may take up to 50-70 minutes. The driver will meet you at the designated meeting point 45 minutes following your landing.
Is There Free WIFI at Ben Gurion Airport?
Yes. Free WIFI is available in all terminals of Ben Gurion Airport (TLV)
Is it possible to exchange money at the airport?
Yes. There are several ATM machines and currency exchange counters at Ben Gurion Airport that work 24/7.
Is there a free shuttle from Ben Gurion Airport to Tel Aviv or to Jerusalem?
There are no free shuttles from Ben Gurion Airport.

What transportation options are available from Ben Gurion Airport on weekends?
On Shabbat (Saturday), transportation from Ben Gurion Airport is available through taxis, shared taxis (sherut), and private cars. Public transportation, such as buses and trains, does not operate in Israel during weekends and Jewish holidays.
I’m expected to land on a Saturday. Do you operate on weekends?
Yes. My service is available 24/7. Reservations should be made in advance.
Can I contact you and book a ride on the spot when I arrive?
No. Reservations must be made prior to your arrival.
Do you pick up any other passengers?
No. I do not provide a shared taxi service. We do not wait for, nor pick up, any other passengers along the way.
What happens in case of a delayed arrival?
Your flight is tracked for delayes to make sure that your pickup waits for you upon your arrival. If your flight is significantly delayed or canceled please contact me promptly to reschedule your ride.
How will I recognize you at the airport?
Once your reservation is confirmed you will receive specific instructions regarding the meeting point at the airport.
How long does it take to get from Ben gurion Airport to the hotel?
Average travel time is 30 minutes to Tel Aviv and 45 minutes to Jerusalem. Both may take longer during rush hour.

Is it possible to book trips that cross the border to Jordan?

I’m arriving by cruise into Haifa port. Can you suggest shore excursions?

Is it possible to book your taxi service for a trip to Eilat?
Yes. Travel time from Tel Aviv to Eilat by car is approximately 4.5 hours. However, consider flying to Ramon airport and then taking a local taxi to Eilat as this option provides a significantly faster and more budget-friendly option for reaching Eilat.
We would like to go on a day trip to Nazareth and the Christian sites in the Galilee

Are the prices listed on the website per passenger or per vehicle?
The prices listed on the website are per vehicle, up to 4 passengers, and on weekdays. Larger vehicles are available upon request.
How do I secure my reservation?
To secure your reservation, an advance deposit is required. I use Paypal for sending online payment requests allowing recipients to pay securely via either credit card or direct bank transfer. This ensures the confidentiality of your credit card details.
What is the refund policy in case I need to cancel my reservation?
All cancellations requested up to 12 hours prior to the scheduled reservation are eligible for a full refund.
What payment methods are available?
Payment for all services is expected in cash upon completion of the journey. If you wish to pay the full amount in advance via credit card or direct bank transfer, please indicate so during the reservation process.
What types of currency are accepted for payment?
New Israeli Shekel (NIS) is the preferred currency. However, U.S. Dollar (USD) is accepted as well.
Are tips included in the listed prices?
Tipping in general is not customary in Israel and all quoted prices do not include tips. However, satisfied clients often tip according to their level of satisfaction with the service. For more information, check out my post on paying for taxis in Israel .
Do you also offer large vehicles for groups and big families?
Of course. A wide range of large vehicles is available. Contact me with all the necessary details to get a quote.
We’re traveling with a young child. Can you provide a baby seat?
Yes. An infant car seat or a booster can be arranged upon request in advance and based on availability.
